Due to popular demand, I will post the greatest car ever received by anyone on these forums.

I received the car, as noted in my signature on the February 18, 2005. I was going to post it before but I had a lot of stuff to do last weekend. On top of that I had a new car and some friends came into town. Needless to say, they were pleasantly surprised by the car, to say the least. I still have yet to put on my Bassani axle backs and or my sound system; I may wait off on those since the car is so nice stock. Another surprise, the car next to mine had a sticker of 155,xxx. Someone offered 330,000 and was turned down, another Ford dealership near me sold theirs for 375,000.

Well without further ado…

Love me or hate me, I still have the best car.

Altoid,

How did you like dealing with South Bay? I usually go there for service but I purchased from Cerritos because South Bay rarely has GTs on the lot. The only one I saw there was sold at 5,000 over and the guy seemed very happy to get it at that price. I recently attempted to have them (by way of Zaarb Electronics) install an active alarm on mine (big mistake; long story) so I'm still up in the air about their competence when it comes to the 05.. Anyway, back to topic.

Nice car...

Galaxie & wild stray:

Thanks, I knew since I saw the pictures I needed to get Redfire, and Bullit were a must. Black was a close second, but I know I made the right choice here.

TheRealOne:

Thanks, hope you get yours soon.

PerfWhite05:

Southbay Ford was great. The people I dealt with were great, PM for info. I am trying to refer anyone that is in the market as I have nothing but great things to say about them. I was kept up to date on my order; I had a build date ASAP, all that good stuff. They are marking things up but I got a great deal. From what I understand Saleen has sought them out to be the only Saleen dealer in the region.

Southbay Ford now has about 8 or 9 GT's on the front of the lot, saw them Saturday. Satin Silver, Mineral Grey, Black, screaming Yellow......... By the way did they say anything about honoring X-Plan???

I though there were a lot, but my eyes only saw one. Wow that sounds sappy, but you know what I mean.

Wish they had a Sonic Blue GT per my signature. Sure would be a convenient place to buy the car (work at LAX). Wonder if they'd do an x-plan?

If you want to see some Saleen's, go down to OC, Santa Margarita Ford. The have three of them. I can't see Saleen keeping their cars on just one lot.

Congrats Altoid! Great combo.

It would look even better in the "photos of yours" section though

Sorry, couldn't resist. Looks great though!

Nice car you got there, Ryan. Glad you went with the bullitts, which are the REAL upgrade in my opinion! Thanks for posting pix. That color even looks great in the dark! Good luck with her...

Happy motoring! :drive: :cop:

Awesome Altoid! BTW, thanks for helping me to make up my mind. I'm ordering my GT (Premium Redfire/Dk Graphite/IUP/5sp) in May and I kept going between the bullets and waiting for '06 for the fanblades. However, seeing your car pushed me over to bullets. Sweet!
