So tell me guys....
What is to be in 2007-2008....will it be a Shelby (doubtful), another Mach 1 variant, or a BOSS? I'm looking at getting a new one come around that time but ONLY if it it's a BOSS and if so it better be packin' at LEAST the Cammer 5.0 or larger....hehehe. It's the only way I'll swap out my current '00 GT.

I wouldn't limit yourself like that. The name on the special edition doesn't really mean a whole lot. It might make it more drag vs track or whatever, but, either the car will be a nice powerful mustang or not. I wouldn't pass on a 350+ shelby because it didn't say Boss on the side of the car. The Cammer is a cool engine. Doubt it will see production cars. Who really cares whether the 350/350 comes from a cammer or a 5.4 or a 4.6 as long as it is there.

I hear ya, it's just that no other Mustang has ever appealed to me as much as the '69-70 Boss 429 (Boss 302 was awesome too). I like the Shelby but the GT500 moreso than the 350. The Mach was cool for what it was but I just never jumped on that bandwagon (although if I had a good 25-30G laying around I'd get an '03-04 lol). You have to understand that everyone has their dream car and the Boss is mine. Don't get me wrong, as long as it has the rumored "umph" in HP from the GT...say the 350HP, that would be more than sufficient as a solid foundation for my creation. I just hope it's the Boss, albeit a 4.6, 5.0, or the unlikely 5.4.

the '69 boss 302 has been my dream car, and if the new mustangs have a boss variant that would be, well, BOSS
:drive: it should have some similar styling cues as the bosses before it, i dont think they would just slap a name tag on it and call it boss.
whatever engine it gets, i know would be good. so no worries with that
