Nice....is that 18% all around on the tint or just the rear and back windows?

 

Burke, what color are you going to paint your calipers?

 

Side and back windows only -if you wanna be within the LAW down here in FL, you can mess with the front windshield down to the A1 line and THAT'S it. The GT already comes with that black dotted stuff and the Pony logo on the front so I didn't wanna mess with it.

 

In sticking with my whole Dark Knight motiff, I wanna keep everything uniform - BLACK.

I have the kit - planning on doing it with my brother next Saturday.

Where did you got the seat covers from?

I have been trying to get some nice seat covers for mine, but have not found anything to my taste.

 

I like the exhaust tips. It's a part direct from Ford? Do you have the part number, and also how does it attach? I want to try and avoid those horrible looking universal fit tips that just screw on like a christmas tree stand.

 

Objects in mirror are losing that is hilarious.

 

I like the Ford racing floor mats.

moc1976 - black or red will look sweet. And yeah, I'll get pics up when I am done. Doing it next Saturday - will be out of town on business next few days after that so I will try and get pics up before I leave.

oatmeal - the tips come with a clamp - you slip them on, get them aligned right, then ratchet down the clamp tight and you are set to go.

Altoid - just find your local Advance Auto Parts - make sure its a larger one that does lots of business. I went to one that was off the beaten path and they had next to NOTHING in the floor mat department, and the other store I went to which was alot bigger and in a diffeerent more traveled part of town had five or six sets just of the Ford Racing ones.

They'll be clipped together on a cardboard 'hanger' in that section - they have some for Chevy, Dodge, etc..... Just look through them all - the Fords will be there. $25 later, those stinkers are yours.

Its just a plug-in for the empty powerpoint - dress up the interior and what-not. They also have them with the GT logo, the Pony, etc......

Here's the FUNNY thing though - I ordered TWO Eject ones - couldn't get one for my GT and not for my brother's....

So my sister-in-law is taking the car to work the next day and didn't know I'd put it in..... she looks over and spots it and is like 'What the heck is THAT'.... she wants to push it... but has no idea how it got there..... she starts thinking maybe my brother did it and she shouldn't mess it with.... starts CAUTIOUSLY playing with the switch, sees it doesn't seem to cause anything to happen, then calls my brother very confused on her cell.

"What the heck is this EJECT button on the dash??..."

"What ever you do, DON'T touch it!!!! The passeneger side roof will flip off and the seat will launch up!!"

Moment of silence.......

"What??... C'mon you can't be serious .... Really??...."


I laughed my butt off - she told me that story and just how confused she was that this button had mysteriously appeared in their car....
