I agree. I've also heard rumors of a prototype 05 mustang test mule with a supercharged 03/04 4.6L DOHC motor in it, not a 5.4L Cobra R powerplant, which is why I am skeptical. Does anyone remember the spy pic of few months back of a camo stang with the huge cowl hood? Wonder if this is it?

I read on a thread somewhere that even Motortrend or some other mag claimed it was a Cobra mule. I could be wrong too.

Jessica,
I hope you don't think I was being negative toward you! That wasn't the case at all! I apologize if I came across that way, but I was only speaking about the photos. I'm guessing you didn't draw the pictures, so, IMO, they are ugly. I said nothing about your pics or lack of pics, whatever.
I would equate that to ridiculing the taste of a hamburger from a fast food place. The cashier shouldn't be offended by my comments, as he didn't actually make the thing.
Just clearing my name. People here know I'm one of the last ones to personally bash someone for doing nothing wrong.

Here are the printouts of two kits. I was so excited about seeing, touching, sitting in an 05, that the guy talking to me is a mumble. I know the GT has a Cobra R engine in it. I also know they are fabricating and doing kits for 05s.
After that, I am going to clarify the rest on Wednesday, and take pics of the SEMA car, and engine.
The yellow GT is one of the kits. The hood and side scoops are non functioning, and just add ons. The white and red one is the car they are building for the SEMA Ford Booth.
The white red one is the one I will going to see on Wednesday. I will get as many pics as I possibly can.
The printer quality is not very good, he just grabbed some print outs from the office. At least you get an idea.

Jessica, Thanks for the pictures!
Unfortuntaely, I will never get to happen on chances like that here in PA.
Keep up the good work, and ignore the whiners.

I thought the one with the huge cowl hood turned out to be a photochop? I could be wrong though, perhaps we have seen different photos.

I think that after many long threads we came up with an inclusive, "no one could agree if it's real or not".

Jessica, thanks for the info and pictures. You've contributed more information then most of the people complaining ever have so great job. Until they produce something, ignore them, if you haven't already. I'm looking forward to the next set of pictures. Getting info on the future Cobra would be outstanding.

I'm with John on this one ,you got more info and pictures than most have ever posted. Most of us in Canada haven't even seen an 05 mustang let alone sit in one ....and you got to sit in a proto type cobra!! Thanks again for the pic's and info ....keep it commin!!

Few people will ever even get to see a test car on the road so keep up the good work Jessica, I have seen several, and it really includes alot of luck in just being in the right place at the right time. The first 05 test cars I saw had the Lincoln bodies with Mustang fronts talking about something nobody would believe.

All the manufactures test near where I live it is just being lucky enough to be around when the right cars come. If a Cobra proto type is around it will make it here I just have to be lucky enough to catch it.

Ok, guys... I am a 35 yr old woman who is totally amped about getting this car.
I am not some kid who is begging for attention, and not some loser who would just post crap. So, I forgot to get some pics of the engine, and my husbands camera phone is pretty bad. So what? If you dont want to believe me, fine...
I got overexcited, and didnt ask all these questions, and didnt take all the pics. Not that it would have mattered since the camera phone is so bad you woul have called BS anyway.
How about going back to what your mama taught you? If you dont have something nice to say, dont say anything at all.

Jessica -- thanks for the effort.
I'm with the other guys. Not doubting your integrity -- but lightly questioning the varacity of the shop guys. Why would Ford send a future motor to a shop? Why would they put it in stock body?
If they wanted the body work done, they'd ask them to do that. And I doubt that ford outsources to smaller shops to do suspension or engine work. (a lot of that can be done on a bench, and I doubt SVT really needs the help).
What is more likely, is rather than an SVT (Cobra), what someone got was an SE motor, and that they threw a few out for bid/ideas. (I could see ford going to a few shops, asking them to double check an SE project, or put their spins on them, etc.). And since I think the SE's are closer than the Cobra's, this probably makes a lot more sense. Or that the tuner, was doing THEIR OWN interpretation of the next Cobra motor, and exaggerating. (Or they'd put an older Cobra motor in a newer Stang).
Hard to say -- but it just doesn't seem logical that Ford would be doing what that guy said they were. And this is NOT an attack on you. (I dont think you are a poser or a liar. And I do believe you probably saw something that was not stock/normal).

But motor trend questioned if it was real or not as well. As I remember, it was proven to be fake, as the hood didn't line up correctly and you had some strange blurring in weird areas that shouldn't have had it.
