Thumbs down

I'm so excited! My dealer finally called today and gave me my FULL VIN#!!! I know there have been plenty of posts from other people about their VIN#s, but I feel so relieved that I just HAD to share the love! He said he will call me very soon with a build date.
I can almost feel that '05 shifter in my hand and the thrum of over 300 horses running up my legs. B)

Congrats ... don't get too excited though, you are still a ways off from your car ... its a lot better to not get yourself too hyped, that way you cant be disappointed.

Glad to hear. Those steps (ordering..Submited to plant..VIN#..Build Date...) they all help. Makes it feel like something is being done.

OK. I have to ask... your Vehicle Identification Number number? (VIN#)
Isn't that like going to the ATM machine? (Automatic Teller Machine machine)

I don't mean to be a smart butt, I've just always wondered about that.

the only thing about the vin that wouldn't be known is the last 6 digits which is serialized to match the car, everything else is standardized, but yeah... it is kinda like asking for someone's pin number
