It is so nice not hearing that dreaded popping noise from the front end on turns. I am getting a new passenger side window next week, because somebody that has been riding in my car chipped the edge of the window in 2 places. It looks like chips from some kind of jewelry, keys, etc.

Mine was repaired on the 7th of SEP... Takes one day to complete... No loaner here... Got it back and wah-lah! no more low speed popping.. No change in handling or alignment noticed....

Acutally I had mine done recently and I would swear the car handles a bit smoother

Need to have mine fixed... sounds like it's worth having it done.. Mine doesn't "pop" all the time.

Max, it took them 1 full day and a few hours of the 2nd day. They gave me a free loaner car (Hyundai Elantra). I drove around for quite awhile last night, and it doesn't make any rickety sounds anymore. It took 2 months waiting for all the parts to come in since I placed the order originally. My new window is supposed to be in within a week.....

packhater,

Yes.

It only took them 3 days to get my parts in (strut bearings and gas tank) and this was right after the TSB came out. They had it in and out in the same day. I noticed that they steering was much tighter with the new bearings (and is still tight to this day). I hadn't realized how much "slop" it had gotten.

I'm getting mine in about 2 weeks and was just wondering if I'll have to deal with this old problem.
