So I just got off the phone with Ford Customer Service and they told me my car was being built as we spoke AND I have a delivery date of 11/24 - 12/1!!!!! AWESOME! I can't wait!
I think this calls for.... BANNANAS!

 

Delivery dates should be taken with a grain of salt. (not trying to get you down, just don't be too disappointed if its a little later)

 

Yeah, my salesman gave me a ETA of 11/19

But the ford customer service number gave me an ETA of 11/26

Either way, I'm happy just to know it is produced and awaiting it's arrival. I will be patient and very excited when i get the call from my salesman!

 

When did you guys order?

 

What were your build dates?? My car was built the last week and I just want to get some idea as to when I will get it.

My build date was supposed to be the week of 11/8-11/15. It appears it is already built though. Ford customer service also said, last week, that my car should be here between 11/23-11/30.

 

I hope you get your car. My build date was 9-20 and I still have not seen it.

I think you guys should expect to wait a full month after your car has been built before you take delivery! B) Also, if the end of that month falls around Thanksgiving time, you should probably tack another week on it.

 

I know Ford has been delivering early. So, hopefully this trends goes with the Mustang.

 

i know this is a question asked alot...but i just got off the phone with my dealer to ask him if he knew anything yet or if my DORA came in yet its been over 2 weeks and still nothing he says its because of all the holds etc. i told him i understand all the holds and everything just would be nice to see the DORA. I have seen many ppl on here say they got their DORA like the next day how many of you had to wait even longer? my order

Ford Customer Service said it should be delivered from this past Sat to next Saturday 13th - my dealer said he read the same thing in the system and he guesses it should be here Wednesday - it has left Michigan and arrived in Kansas City at the mixing center last week - apparently it takes 1 day to get from KC to Columbia SC where it will be shipped to Aiken - I hope I get it by this weekend!!!!!! (Considering I am heading up there) - I really really hope it is on time since nothing has been delayed and everything has been on time so far!

 

I don't want to rehash the oem/am stereo debate on this thread, but buy it, have your local custom stereo build you something better for less $! Or if you really want the Shaker trunk subs, I'm sure it won't be long and you'll be able to order them from your local Ford parts counter. That's what I'd do... the wait is killing me.

 

I just got this from Ford Customer servcie "according to our resources, the estimated time arrival for your 2005 Ford Mustang to arrive at the purchasing dealership is 11/29/04."

Oh i can't wait...
