darn, that sucks dude. Similar thing happen to a neighbor of mine. Its going to be hard for her to put you at fault since you were stopped at the light waiting to make a left turn. Doesn't make sense for you to have stopped for the light and then decided to run it. If you had been making a right turn then that would be a different issue. You should be alright legally, going to take some time though. goodluck dude.

Sorry to hear about what happened . I'm 16, and sometimes I over hear people at my school about there driving abilities, and it's pathetic.

Pick up a copy of the collision report from the police department that took the call. Somewhere on the report should be a box that indicates if she was cited for failing to obey traffic control device. The other thing is traffic collisions are civil, so police would not be able to write a warrant for her cell phone records. That said, your passenger is allowed to testify in court to what he/she saw. Bring photos, dress sharp and stay calm and polite. You'll win the case.

Glad to heard that there were no injuries but getting your car T-boned isn't nice. Hope everything works out OK for you!

my first thought was the driver was drinking, glad to hear you are alright, better even that you didn't have a few pops---what hurts the most is the time investment you'v eput in to get it to where you want--best of luck---hopefully they total it, then you just remove the goodies you've installed and order a new one!

Sorry to hear about your accident. That really stinks that she's lying about it....I hope the truth prevails.

Glad you are okay.

I hope they make it all right for you as well. And the 16 year old gets nailed for everything.

Sorry that happened Richard.

Teri (from Mossy) had her Bullitt hit a month ago and found a high quality body shop that specializes in Mustang repair and paint. Close to you in San Diego, maybe worth looking into.

Glad you're OK. My mom got hit like that in her Subary by a 76 year old driving an old "tank", so I kind of know what it's like. You're very lucky - buy a lottery ticket now!
Just saw that you had similar suggestions already. Definately do check if there are cameras. Not only security, but those connected that traffic lights. In many states police departments started doing that to issue people tickets for running a red light. They look like a small brick type of a box fixed on a pole. If this is the case you might be able to get the local police department to help you in court.

This is a link to the CA DMV page that shows you the restrictions on licensed drivers under the age of 18.
This will help your case proving that she shouldn't have been on the road in the first place.
