Yahooo...the dealer told me the car is "built" but the printout he had showed "bucked". Either way, delivery date is supposed to be April 5. Hope it arrives sooner rather than later....this wait is killin' me!!

Glad to see yours got built this week like they said, that gives me hope!

Now lets have a race to see who gets theirs the quickest.

A big congrats. I do agree with RaGs though....just another example of the faulty allocation system.

Welcome to the club. I ordered mine on October 20 and when I picked up the VIN and DORA on November 4 my car was listed as 'Temporary Delay', and remained in that status until early December when I FINALLY got a build week of December 13 and got my car on December 28.

During the time my car was held up in the IUP and spoiler shortages lots of people that ordered AFTER I did were getting their cars...and some of the cars was almost exactly what I ordered.

I understand how you feel as I went through the same thing you're going through right now

faulty allocation system? an order with a dealer who has no allocations is worthless

Really sorry that there are so many of you still waiting that ordered before me . The one thing that my dealer told me (before I ordered) is that he has one of the largest Mustang allocations in SoCal. Guess that has helped quite a bit....

I was bucked 2 weeks ago, hoping to get the call this week from what they tell me. Probably depends on how far you are from the plant. Don't really know what takes so long once it's shipped myself?

As it continues to get warmer, I am going to feel the need for the ragtop, and do something stupid like impulsively buy another vert because I am tired of waiting. Then I will undoubtedly regret it later.

The Mustang I ordered that came in with the wrong trans took almost exactly a month to arrive after it showed as being shipped. I'd say the early Apr date might be very close. The car was shipped about 5 days aftter it was built. The cars built after January seem to be taking about 2 weeks longer to arrive than those built earlier in the year to my area.

I think mine was built Mar 3 or 4, and just picked it up tonight. So about 2-1/2 weeks from bucked to delivery in my case. Mine never had to go on rail though - from Michigan to CT on a trailer.

Congrats on getting bucked though - at least you know you'll see it soon!
