Good site for performance parts
#1
I am just getting into the mustang as of lately and would like to know some good websites for performance parts. This isn't really related to the new stang, but I would like to see the stuff available for the current one so I have an idea what will be available for the new one. I am looking for engine/exhaust in particular since these should not change a great deal as the stuff for the body obviously will. Thanks. B)

Actually the engine and exhaust have changed dramatically since the last Mustang. Since it's an all new design, they reworked most of the car, externally and internally.
Oh, and welcome to Mustang fandom!

Steeda is in the technology sharing program with Ford, most likely you will have new parts for the car in the living room while waiting for the car to come in.

Finally, no ordering from the US/ US site...which is quite a hassle (tariffs, shipping, US currancy, etc)

Yeah, the chips do work, but don't believe the manufacturer's claims on hp and torque increase, though, unless like kevin said, you get a custom tune. They do a lot more on an auto tranny than in a standard. As far as the chips on Ebay, you get what you pay for.
Good websites for performance parts... I like Need-4-Speed (www.need-4-speed.com), they have a nice selection and the guy's real helpful too. Just stay away from centerforce clutches.
I'm interested in how the chips for the '05's will work with the variable cam timing.
