The Sales Manager called me back today. Told me that my will be built and sheady to ship on 12/20, and not a day later. He spoke to several people over in Flatrock, and told me my order is "red tagged"; which means that once it is built...my car doesn't wait in line for a railcar...it is put on one immediately. The General Manager of my dealership made the call to get my car tagged. He said that he can't promise me it will be here for Christmas (no &$%# Sherlock), but it will be here before New Years.

I want to believe him...and with so many managers and sales people telling me this...I almost do; but until I am sitting in my car peeling out of the drive way of my dealership...I am skeptical.

Has anyone heard of this "red tag" or it another word for "an-annoying-customer-who-thinks-we-are-rushing-his-car"?
