I have this feeling tomorrow is the day. It could even be there now. I called and my dealer was off for the day, the general manager left for the day and no one there knew of what came in on those trucks. So tomorrow morning I'm hoping ...

I would drive up there now to check it out, but i gots this movie and romantics interests at stake ...

Similar note: my dealer mentioned Nov 12th to me, but still no phone call. Then again, I'm quite far from anxious or impatient about getting this car. I never really "want" anything. So me wanting this car is weird, but if for some reason I can't get it, I don't care.

Would you rather the filter said "buns" like Mr. Mackey from that South Park episode, oh poo? M'kay, bich.

btw: romantic interests can wait until you're out of high school, they're better after you graduate. B)

 

I`m in the same boat, my wife is so sick of me talking about it, reading about it etc. She wishes it would come so I`ll leave. When we ordered the car she asked me if I was getting side airbags. I said only when your next to me.

My place found out my car was shipped 3 days ago. (It was fixed, reinspected and released) BUT, its nto a direct ship, they stop along the way, unlaod in a yard, and reload to come to my dealer ... so any day now I guess, right?

 

Oh also ... I was up at Marshall Ford today .... a V6 red Stang was on its way in in like an hour. 2 guys were standing there, BIDDING for the car. When I left they were at 4,000 dollars over MSRP. THATS CRAZY. Basically, one of them paid the same price I am paying for my GT premium for their v6.

 

I know how you feel!!!! My husband works for the dealership that we ordered my 05 from... He would call me every morning when he got to work to tell me if she had come in yet... It killed me when he would call and say she wasn't there... And everytime the phone would ring during the day I would freak! I was so sick to my stomache I could hardley eat! I waited 3 years for this car! I have owned 2 other stangs in the past...I just thought she would never get here... Finally he called one morning after I just kinda gave up.. and said she was here... I started bawling.. After all of your waiting and freaking out, it will really freak you out when you first sit in your car.. I still get up in the middle of the night and go look out the window at her Hope yours gets here soon!!!!

I have nightmares about the ship sinking in port, right as it's getting to my car to offload. It's in the air, suspended, then comes crashing to the dock, and I endure months of legal battles when the shipping company says it was delivered, the dock people say they never received it, etc.

Almost as bad as the meteor coming down and smashing it when I am in the gas station bathroom on the way home.

I may already be insane,

 

OH I swear death and destruction to the trucker if he $%&#s up my car.

Maybe mine willcome tonight? Naw, they don't ship Sunday nights do they? I know a Mustang came into my dealer at like 5:00 last night.

God I hope tomorrow is the day. If it comes in while I'm at school I'm going home and going to get it. Then I'll ride back up at like 2:40 when everyone is leaving. PARRTAYYY

 

The people that deliver to the dearlership where I got my car, their shift starts at midnight .. That's sunday night monday morning.. Awww you know what I mean lol! Let us know if she comes in tomorrow!!! Good luck!

When do shipments usually occur? Can I expect a call in the mornign or afternoon?

 

Thats impossible to tell. It depends on how many dealerships the carrier has to go to, how far he is going, etc.

 

I feel so sorry for ya! I was right where you are last week... The waiting is awful!!!!! :bang: You will be so excited when she gets here though... Maybe tomorrow..... My fingers are crossed!!!

 

I feel your pain. I too am going insane waiting for my car. I ordered it on 8/7/04 and was just told last week that I won't see it until January or February. I still don't have a build date or vin #. The status is unscheduled / clean. Don't know what's going on. I've called Ford, the dealership, and the owner of the dealership. Tomorrow the district manager will hear from me. No matter how much complaining I do, it all comes down to one thing.........I DON'T HAVE MY CAR!!!!

 

Man oh man that's horrible. You need to see if maybe there's something they'll do for you. At least a few oil changes would be nice if the dealer cares. I don't mean to salt your wound, but I just ordered this weekend and was told mid-late Jan. Of course that remains to be seen, but my fingers are crossed, and good luck to you.
