Well sonic blue v6es are plentiful. In all the zips I searched around yours, no sonic gts.

Next best thing I found was a screaming yellow gt somewhere near cleveland.

Young Chicks dig flashy cars......Yellow is flashy.

Don't I know it. A young girl at my work has a yellow 03 V6, when I told her I was getting Mineral Grey she seemed severly disappointed.

It should be snowing by now ... if I got my car when I should have I would have had a full month to drive it. Ugh.

Atrgh! It doesn't hel pwhen your mom gets your hopes up. As soon as I got hoem from school my mom said "Hey! I just drove past Marshall Ford 30 minutes ago, and when I was past it, some car carriers were coming down Mayfield Road towards it. And I saw a blue sports car on one!

Well .... no one has called and she saw the car carriers an hour and half ago, and they said I'd know as soon as the Mustang came in.

:sigh:

Dude, HAVE FAITH. I.... the eternal optimist, was in depression. I was angry. I was sad. I was ready to do violence to someone who could be found responsible.

My car WAS one of the Quality Holds. It may still be at the factory. Redfire, Shaker 1000. I had tried to change the order to include Leather... no dice.

So I checked what WAS coming in. A Sonic Blue GT, my OTHER favorite color.

And this one HAD IUP, and LEATHER, and was/is arriving in one week. But it was $300 more. So I called the main office and said "how about cutting me a deal, you sell me this one, for the same price as the old one" They said yes.... now in 2 weeks at most I will be a happy man, and my original order will get to Germany sometime around Christmas Eve.

BE BOLD. Take chances. Don't lose faith. Anguish and Worry are not rewarded. Urgent action is.

Good luck, I know where your head is at, insane brother of the Stang.

I find it somewhat appalling that you are a 17 year old kid that doesn't have patience for his (probably parent bought) car to come in, but you chose an avatar of a MAN who was ragged from fighting for the freedom of a country. :notnice:

I don't know .. I don't want to call and look stupid (again) They have been saying as soon as the car arrives I'll know, and they haven't called yet ... so I don't think it was it. Just my moms overactive imagination.

And when I asked my Mom if it was a Mustang she was like "UMMMM, I don't know .... it was blue!" And I said "Mom, I've showed you at least 300 pictures of the darn car, and you still can't tell what one looks like?"

Grantsdale -- I find it appaling that you like to disrespect others when they haven't said a single bad thing about you.

Maybe if you read my posts and don't skim them, you'd know that I've saved up for several years for this car and I'll be buying every penny of it.

So just because I'm dissatisfied with the way a company has treated me as a customer, I'm not allowed to be patrotic? You, my good sir, are a poor excuse of an adult. Maybe you should go pick on someone your own size? Stop using my youth as a way to put yourself on a higher pedestal than me.

That man in my avatar is a role model of excellence and true American pride. Nothing a car can ever embody.

I would choose a better picture of a soldier if I wanted to be patriotic. Your picture makes him look week and tired, a picture that shows your patriotism would be something that shows power and being strong.

I can't believe at 17 that "you've saved for several years" for the car. According to websites, 14 is the youngest you can work at in OH. Which is lower than most states, so that actually gives you a better advantage. However, math is still against you. You can only work less than 15 hours a week from 14-16. The most I can imagine earning at that age is $10, and that is extemely generous. With taxes, you would take home about $7 an hour at that point. That would give you about $5400 a year. So thats $10000 for 2 years, probably $15000-$17000 saved. (Without spending any money whatsoever) 75% of the car, but you do realize how much insurance is going to be, right? Unless your parents are paying for that, which would be a huge burden off of you. Anyway, whatever. Who cares.

You definetly need to get a hobby to occupy you for a few weeks though. Play basketball. Get an xbox. Play some computer games. Something. Work more. You realize you are going to get your car and be really disappointed just because you are getting so very worked up over it and it won't be able to live up to what you want it to be.

Assumptions assumptions. They make Asses out of you and me.

I made my little envelope that I labled "The Mustang Fund" when I was 10 years old. Gifts I recieved, payment of 10 whole dollars for cutting the lawn, and other odd jobs went into that envelope. Then I got a job at a private golf course (note: PRIVATE institute) when I was 14. You'd be amazed at how much I earn there a summer. I get 6 an hour plus tips, rounding out to around $15 an hour. I work as much as possible. To give you an estimate of what I've saved, its nowhere close to the 30 k my car is, but its around half. (After a downpayment I payed in Semptember) I have about 25 months of payments then. In those 25 months, I will have worked enough to get around another 25 months of payments.. (Thats not factoring paying for gifts, gas, and food) So If I come home and work fmy first two years of college, I will have saved enough money to buy the car.

And I'll admit something: My parents are paying for insurance this year and my first year in college. Its my reward for getting good grades and being near the top of my class the past 4 years.

So please, before you assume something, ask.

And that picture of that soldier shows how hard hes worked, how much agony and strife he's gone through, FOR US. Values all Americans used to have. Something I probably will never do, and for that, I am not the best person I could be. Here is a link of a bigger version of the picture. Its moving.

BTW, I do play basketball, I have tons of computer games, I don't own an Xbox. I play poker almost every night, and tonight I'm seeing a movie with a potential new girlfriend. This car isn't my life. Thank you for understanding and gettign to know me

Do you play hold 'em? I posted this on here once before but I've played a couple tables with greg raymer up at one of the Indian Casinos (Foxwoods) here in CT before he won the WSOP.

As far as the pic goes, look at this:

I think it shows a better "we are the US" then yours, but of course thats IMO.

Good that you are doing other things, because when you are doing those you won't be worrying about your car.

You two are cracking me up! Grantsdale you are pretty funny sometimes and DJ07 you have restored my faith just a bit concerning today's youth. That is assuming you have been truthful on this board, and I think you have been.

Thanks to you both for the uplift!

Hey man,
Good for you. Sounds like you grew up like me. I had a 'Jeep Fund,' was a caddy at the local private country club, and had parents who would help me out, but made me earn everything I had. I appreciate your enthusiasm, it reminds me of when I was 17, and makes me wish I was that age again. There's a lot of negativity on this board, ignore it, just stink up all the good info about the car, and ignore the personal attacks.

Language filter... 'stink' is supposed to be s u c k

Well, That picture does kick hiney. I mean its like 'I'll kick your hiney if you come near me Iraqi insurgent!"

Mine is more like "darn, we just did kick those Iraqi insurgents asses"

Anyway, we play almsot any game. We don't find hold em tourneys to be the best thing for our time, best bang for our buck. We play with quarters .. anything from hold 'em to 7 card games with wilds. (Like seven and what makes it, eddies choice)

A lot of people don't like wilds ... but we think they are good. They spice things up, seeing we play so much. Pots usually are like 5-10 bucks, but I've won a 60 dollar pot (5 aces in eddies choice)

We've been playing for close to a year and I'm down only like 30 bucks I think (It was only 12 until last night) So its not like I've lost all my money doing that. its a form of clean entertainment ...

Ok, can we take the language filters out? I have a dirty mouth, I'll admit it, and I hate the word "hiney" It makes me look like a pansy.

Apparently, I'm in the same boat as alot of you. Just spoke to my dealer today, and he basically gave me the same story: "Spoke to my inventory guy, and it should be in any day." He did say that he heard a rumor that alot of cars are being recalled by Ford to replace a part. No more info than that. What stinks is, I got an Oct. 13 ETA date, so I sold my Jeep. Now, I'm sans vehicle for almost 3 weeks. "Shipped to convoy."
Please, Ford, give me my GT Premium, IUP, Mineral Grey, Dark Charcoal, Shaker 1000. :worship:
