Glitches 2008 Mustang
I recently bought this mustang, 2008 V6. I have noticed a couple things that it has stopped doing in the past couple of days. When I turn off the car, take the key out and open the door the radio stays on, consequently when I press the lock button twice on the remote it doesn't beep the horn. I don't know if water damaged something electronic or if there is a problem with a sensor somewhere. It does it sporadically. Any help would be appreciated.

Yup, probably a messed up Smart Junction Box because water leak. Look at the carpet on the right side foot well for telltales, or water. These models do have an issue about the water getting in sometimes on the right side, and dripping into/over the SJB, which causes all kinds of weird things, such as this.
It'd be easier to take it to a dealer to diagnose, frankly. And you'll need to program a new/used one if it is a bad SJB. And you need to be careful on the used ones, they're not created equal, there's an '05 model, '07 model, and '09 model, and they are coupe/vert/V6/V8 specfic (or so I've been lead to believe.)

they aint cheap- but are pretty easy to remove, I'd pop it out, look for wet/corroded pins on the plugs...might be able to just clean it up carefully and save a few hundred bucks... if its already shot, cant hurt much(careful in case theres a core charge)
mine just had water in one plug, no corrosion yet, blew it out, put a little vaseline on the pins(hoping to prevent corrosion from starting where it had been wet) and everything was good, still is a couple yrs later. dont recall, but think i took the case apart too, just to look at the board...my memory sucks, might have been a module in the sons car that got wet too.
