Well I'm meeting with my fleet sales dude today to test drive a white/red GT 5-speed! I know lots of you have already driven these things, but it's my first so I'm excited
They have a 3,000 markup on it, which they won't move on... but I can order one and get $100 over invoice. Heh, for 5 g's I think I can wait. I can't believe people are actually paying over sticker on a mass-production car. It's not like it's a cobra or anything. As soon as the 04's are gone I think we'll see better deals on the 05s. Until then well all you people have fun losing hiney on your brand new car. If you want a good deal I can hook you up with a great salesman who will treat you right, the only drawback is you will have to order and wait. (He's in fleet sales and can't deal as well on in-stock vehicles)
BTW in case anyone hasn't noticed you can option out a Deluxe GT to have the same options as the Premium GT and it ends up costing about $350 less. Not much but every little bit helps.... with this and the college grad discount I am able to save almost $1000.

Is an optioned out deluxe really cheaper? I thought the Shaker 500 made it go above the Premium's price. Usually you get a slight break going with a package instead of just adding options. Anybody else looked into this? My girlfriend is thinking about ordering a GT now that she has ridden in mine.
