Really sorry about that man. It hurts and I'm not sure about you, but with me, it mentally messes me up big time.

I had a close call yesterday. I parked to go get some lunch. Parked clear across the lot and made the walk to prevent any potential issues. When I returned, there was a '96 Mercury Villager mini-van about 14" from my drivers side. I could barely get in the car. I carefully examined for any damage and luckily there was none. I was still quite aggrivated that someone not only had to park next to me, but MISSED the spot so badly I could barely get in the car.

THE NERVE!!!

I've had the same thing happen to me! its an about 2 inch gouge on the front bumper of my car, it goes all the way down the the black base, and then below that its scraped up pretty bad...its quite complicated to explain visually but let me just say i never knew my face could get so red when i noticed it! And to make matters worse i have NO clue where it happened or even when! :bang:

That stinks, I hope the fix goes well! Im so glad I have a daily driver so that I at least have less times that I need to worry about stupid people. Why do people do this and not own up to it, guess it goes along with our society these days. Nobody takes responsiblity for their actions. Its not like you could do damage like this to someone's car and not realize it!

What is it with people who just walk away from that? Would they be cool if you walked into their home and stuck a size 13 into their TV? What makes it ok to do this to peoples property???

And HOW THE HECK do they not see a white car with blue stripes on it??????

This kind of person is probably the same type that'd go off running to Johnny Law if you caught them at it and opened a Knuckle Dentistry session on them!

That just plain pisses me off. To make it worse, I'm debating with a friend in my office right now because he said that if he ever hit somebody, he wouldn't leave a note either.

His reason? Because he heard a story once about somebody who got a little ding on their bumper and the person who hit him left a note. Because he wanted a new bumper he then took a bat and made more damage so that he would have to order a new one and have the other person pay for it.
