My parts dealer said the filter part number was FP53 (cabin air filter) $10.

FA1773 is the engine air filter.

Just installed a new fuel filter today. It was a very simple job. I the filter from NAPA for 10 dollars. The relay to pull is 21 and make sure to crank the engine over very briefly. Other than that it's just removing nut/bolts.

FYI....I was just at Murray's to pickup a K&N recharge kit and they carry this filter. Walmart also carrys Motorcraft products, so I'd bet they might have it there.

You may want to use anti-sieze on the bolts to facilitate easier removal in the future before they start to rust out on you.

Good tip. I just used WD40 since I was out of anti-sieze. The nuts were already starting to corrode.
