Front spoiler guard?

The other day I noticed that the front fascia on my GT is really lower than previous years...in fact had I not stopped short while pulling into a parking spot with a fairly high curb I would have easily scraped and ruined the bottom portion of the front fascia (spoiler). You would have thought that Ford would have put some black plastic trim at the bottom to deflect damage and minimize the effect it would have on the painted area. Let's face it, others will be driving the car (e.g. the service tech, etc.) at some point in time...I doubt that they will be thinking about the low front end and whammo they'll hit a curb while parking and you'll have to get the front fascia repainted. I was thinking of some kind of "guard" made in black plastic which could absorb the impact but still spring back (and be easy to fix). I guess I could get a Classic Chin Spoiler and let that be the sacrificial goat...but I think that chin spoiler is a bit too big... I prefer the small black section at the very bottom of the GT 500s, not too noticable, but it could take the hit first and cause you to stop and not ruin the rest of your lower front fascia...any ideas? (And I don't mean "curb feelers"-- hehehehehe)

I added a Roush front fascia back in September, and I found out the same night I got the car out of the shop the Roush fascia rides about an inch closer to the ground then the stock fascia when the bumper started scraping when entering/exiting some driveways, so I basically scraped the bottom edge of the fascia less then two hours after getting the car out of the shop.
I would love to find something that I can have installed on the bottom of the bumper to prevent further damage to the paint.

Mike, looks like BMW came up with something for their Z4...Ford (or maybe us) could come up with something similar...check these out...
