Question Front License Plate Bracket

I know there are some threads on custom brackets but I'm interested in the one from the factory/dealer. I'm in a state that requires a front plate so I'm fine with them drilling the bumper for the plate/bracket.

Do they have a standard bracket that they install or is there an upgraded Ford bracket that you can get? I remember someone (Semperfi65?) giving the part number for the bracket but why would that be needed if it's dealer installed? Just wanting to be ready when the car comes it!

OK, this is what I found from the post by Semperfi65:

"2007 Mustang Order Code - (153) for Front license Plate Frame. Same black plastic texture as on the rear view mirrors."

Is this something special I need to order?

I'd like to know this as well because my front plate is screwed straight to the bumper. I've seen pictures of this new bracket, it holds the plate out away from the bumper slightly. I don't know if it's a freebie or if it has to be ordered.

I thought I read it on the Monroney Label. It says something like "front license plate bracket". Not sure if you have to order it or it comes std.

I think the license plate bracket comes standard with the California Special Package. I've noticed it on all GT/CS's that I've seen in person. When I ordered my GT/CS a few days ago the license plate bracket was included on my invoice- and I didn't explicitly tell the dealer I wanted it.

I was at the dealer Saturday and the standard factory front license plate bracket lines up with the dimples on the GT.

What bracket are you describing, the one that projects out from the bumper? Mine has no bracket, the plate is screwed to the bumper. I hate that!

I FOUND IT!!! I knew I had seen this somewhere. Apparently it does come standard with the CS as others mentioned:

I needed to order my rear spoiler from Kevin at Clevenger anyway, so I went ahead and got one of these brackets too. I'll report back when it gets here.
