Hey ISELLFORD,
What do you think about my situation? Am I just worrying too much? Should I just track my order with my VOC? I just don't want to be suprised when my car shows up and I don't have my financing in order. I mean it could be 3 months or 6 months I would just like to know for sure when I get pulled so I have time to get the $ ready.

If you called ERL and were told C/U than your order is in the system. I have no idea why you were told that they would not have a DORA until it is shceduled. That is just B.S. A DORA comes back to the dealer 1-2 working days after the order is placed. That way the ordering person/salesperson can DOUBLE CHECK the order to make sure everything is correct. Believe me when you have placed as many orders as I ahve over the years, sometimes you do them second nature which is why the double check is a necessity. Try to find out who actually orders the vehicles at that dealership and ask them. One reason they may be hesitant of giving you one is beacuse of the pricing issus as the DORA lists the invoice price and they may not want you to see it.

When you call ERL you will need the dealer code which in this case is 27E050, you also need the body type T85 and order # M001.
You can find the ERL number by searching for it. As a Ford Dealer I am not authorized to give the number to a customer.

From what I've been seeing, you should see your car last week of Aug, first week Sept. -ish as long as no quality hold tests, etc.
By the power invested upon me from the Nanner Regulatory Commission, I grant you on this Eleventh day of July, year Two Thousand and Five, this Nanner: :banana2:

Now that I know it's going to be built the first week in August, just how many weeks does it take to build the Mustang?
Looks like I'll have the top down a lot sooner than I thought!
