Fresh Pics...

Well I just had a bad time at a show this past weekend.... I didn't win a trophy (wasn't lookin for one though), but they gave out 5 awards in the class I was in with only 8 cars....lol Gonna post some pics to get your ideas.... I already know I wanna do a new rear bumper (gots some minor damage), smoked corner lights, maybe smoked tail lights and maybe ditch the chrome bezel round the tail lights and maybe even ditch the stripes.... Let me know what you think and give me some ideas fellas... Thanks...

Hey man - sorry to hear about not picking up a trophy. From the pics, the car looks very clean for a DD, and its a good looking ride!

From a show perspective, how's the underhood and interior? The show I was at last weekend, I got the white glove treatment on my wheel wells and INSIDE the exhaust tips, so a lot of it just depends on the judges and what they want to call out about your car. Also, no matter how I place, I will always ask judges for a personal critique of my cars. Most are happy to do so and you'll find out a whole lot about what to be mindful of for future shows. For example, one of the first shows I did, a judge pointed out a wax spot I missed, but told me he overlooked that because it looked like you could eat off my engine.

As far as future mods (all my opinion BTW), either clear or smoked corner lights would look great. I'm not a huge fan of smoked tail lights (looks kind of "ricer" to me). If you're going with a new rear bumper, definitely get the GT/CS bumper to match the front. Agreed on ditching the chrome light bezels as well, but that's me. I dig the stripes, but if you're looking to win shows you might want to consider having them painted on. Think your car would look great with a CDC Shaker as well.

I think your car looks great. Love the color and stripes! Great wheels also. Car looks tough.
