I had a car ordered from my local dealer on November 23, 2004 and it still didn't have a build date. I then ordered from Karpro a week or two ago. I wasn't going to get my car until late June or July. I finally found the exact car I wanted but it was from a dealer in Oklahoma. I've been searching all over the country looking for the exact car I wanted and couldn't find it anywhere. It will begin it's shipment to Michigan next week. It's going to cost me a little more because I had X-plan from my local dealer and $200 under invoice from Karpro but I'll now be getting my life back. I can quit calling the robot lady and getting pissed at her every other day The specs of my car are in my sig.

That's very cool you found one exactly like you ordered! Good job!! How long until it gets to Michigan? By the way....I was stationed on the Mackinaw in Cheboygan!

It is supposed to take 10-14 days. When were you stationed on the Mackinaw?

Wow! Nice, but how the heck do you find a car in Oklahoma? What kind of research did you do? Maybe I could've done this and saved myself 3 months!

It cost about $1400 to ship but I'm splitting the cost with the dealer. I just did a search for Ford dealers and have been looking at inventories of random Ford dealers around the U.S. I happened to find a web page that listed all the Ford dealerships in OK and started clicking on them one at a time. I wish Ford had a better search engine rather than just being able to look around a specific zip code.
