forgot to put the parking brake on!!!backed into my garage door!!!

just as i got out the car i was thinking to myself "wouldn't it be crazy if the garage door fell on the car "as i look back to kind of put a mentall picture in my head the car starts rolling back!!!! i try to hold the car from the handle but it was to late,it was resting on the door. now i have 2 small scratch's on the car. can a body shop fix scratch's on a bumper or will i have to buy a new one? i'll post pic's in a bit

That sucks man. If they're not too bad they should be able to get fixed. Otherwise, www.newtakeoff.com. Good luck!!!

If they are not too deep, give Meguiars ScratchX a try. I've taken out some nasty ones with that stuff. Use just a little at a time.

As long as a scratch is not down to the metal, or plastic, you can usually buff them out.

I find that filling the scratch with touch up paint until it is level with the rest of the surface, or just a little over, then buffing smooth works very well. Especially for a $5.00 investment plus some time.

You might want to try it, as it's not much too loose.

Don't you leave it in gear so it can't roll? If you leave it in first if pointed up slope, or reverse if pointed down slope it won't roll even if you forget you parking brake.
