Y'all can give it up now. Phil just called me to make sure my phone number was correct so there won't be any problems with the announcement.
Also a big thanks to Bruce for trying to help us get Ford off it's rear end.

I registered on Fords web site to receive info on the 2005 Mustang. About two weeks after I registered, I received an email from ford. It was nothing special, It just said "Thanks for your interest in Mustang, Now sit back and let us give you even more to be excited about." It had a picture of the cars new for 2005, along with the obvious Mustang, it had the Focus, Five Hundred, Freestyle and the Ford GT. Under the pic of the mustang it had this info:
"...One of the most iconic nameplates in automotive history."
- Motor Trend®
Forty years a legend. And yet, everything about this Mustang is 2005. That's good - because with up to 300 horses and 320 lb.-ft. of torque, there's nowhere to go but forward. A completely reengineered suspension and all-new powertrain offers the making of a thrill ride. Improved performance. Incredible handling. Quicker acceleration. What more could you want? Oh, right – a pair of stainless steel exhaust pipes. To leave the right impression, of course.
If I receive anything else, I will be sure to post it.

Add me to the long list on the registering and no responses...I've registered 3-4 times and gotten zip on the 05 Stang. You'd think if you can preorder them at the dealer and they can take deposits they would at least get more info up on the Web. I can see them holding off on a media blitz until production is running but come on....it's about time to unleash the dogs!!
Phil Mickelson, the golfer, is the dude who's supposed to call the winner to play a round of golf with him, some country dude and some nascar dude, I think. The winner is also supposed to get to choose between a Freestyle, Five-hundred and a Mustang.
What a suprise ....
I just received my Air Fresherner in the mail today along with the note from Martin Collins the General Marketing Manager. He states: "We hope you can hold out with your current vehicle. The air freshener should help."
Gee I don't know ...
What do you think ?

Funny! I get emails about once a month, talking all about Phil, BUT I did not receive an air freshener. Oh well
