Took the survey. But I gotta say, several things jumped out at me as I did (more on that in a sec). Honestly, I think Ford should stop wasting time on these sorts of stupid consumer surveys, and just look at the competition if they want to know what sort of accessories people desire in their cars.
This information is already in the public domain, and Ford's competition are throttling them with it.
Now, a few of the questions >>
Imagine if the engine of your choice was made outside of the U.S by the following Manufacturers. To what extent, if any, would that impact your consideration to buy another Mustang.
This tells me that Ford is thinking of developing the Mustang more along global lines - perhaps part of Mulally's technology sharing efforts within the company's different divisions. But I had no idea that Mazda was capable of developing a V8 (since that's what I elected in my choice).
How important is it that the parts in your Mustang are U.S made?
Same notation as above.
Independent rear suspension ($200)
Really...? So they can potentially do IRS for $200 per unit? And HTT told us it was scrapped cause it would add $5K to the retail cost of the current Stang?
Somethin' ain't adding up on this one.
