If you're trying to download, it's most likely a Torrent download (where you are downloading pieces from a distributed network of servers). You will need BitTorrent download software, AND, if using a router, will need to re-configure your router settings to allow more port address access. Too much effort, so I broke down and bought the Ford Service Manual DVD on eBay for $19.99.
All of that was done - I just tried uTorrent and it appears to work better than the official BitTorrnt client at 7.79GB I'll let you know in a day or so
