Ford Quarter Window Louvers?
Check out this photo of Mustang designer Doug Gaffka.
In the background is a Mustang with GT/CS side scoops, GT500 rear spoiler, and quarter window louvers. The wheels are the Marauder wheels available in the Ford Custom Wheels catalog.

Is it my imagination, or is that side scoop different? It seems to be a three-sided indention, rather than the hockey-stick we currently have. Could this be the 2010? I don't see hips, but maybe they're just outta shot? Why would there be a clay model of the 05 hanging around?

I would much rather have my '66 Shelby quarter windows. (probably beacuase I spent 16 years staring at my '65's louvers and wanting 'glass')
Looks like if they have louvers in '10 I'll be retrofitting a set of windows.

It also looks like those louvers take the place of the window and not just cover it up...

7 vents - wow, that's going to make for a small vent. I don't see the possibility of making it very functional at that count either, since you are going to be restricted heavily by the repitition. Isn't there already one out there too that has/had a bunch of vents to it?
I will agree it appears to be a replacement piece, rather than a bolt on, but then again, in the clay stage, and given some of the FMVSS requirements FoMoCo has, I don't think that would be the case.
Just ramblings from someone who's been looking at drawings too long of another *style* about to hit the market...

No grill mesh - I like the look as well, but it interferes with the visibility we were after, and makes for a much more complex deal to do properly. (has to do with how the part has to release from the molds, etc...)
It also adds to the cost, which we are trying to keep down, although it might be neat to offer as an option at some point down the road.
