Sorry for late response (I was being roasted on the other thread for being a doubting Thomas, lol...............)
The fact that you asked if my stripes are painted is AWESOME -- that's the bar a good decal job should be judged at; to confirm, mine are decal stripes indeed (color is Metallic Electron Blue).
I forgot to add earlier that what takes so long to apply full length stripes is forming them around edges, emblems (if any) and curves. Cutting them is tough too, because you need to use a razor and don't want to cut into the paint which is sooooo close to the ultra-thin decal material it makes me sick watching the process

Yea I'm glad to hear that ford will be offering a stripe package ,but I'm with drew on this one going over the front end and rear end as well makes the mustang look much better .Thats what I plan for mine but with the twin trailing stripes beside the lemans ones and blacking out the back end as well between the tail lights .This is what it should look like when done as I'm going to get the lime green .
