I believe they'll be a dealer-installed option available immediately or very soon after launch.

Are they painted on or vinyl? Hopefully, there is an option to get it painted.

Very cool. I don't know if I'd go for them personally, but very cool nonetheless.

They sell pre-cut ones. The dealer can also use the pinstripe/vinyl sign guys to do tapered ones or any custom graphics. We used to stripe and do graphics on our in-stock cars with wheels.

If dealer-installed, I would highly doubt that they would be painted.

And if they are vinyl, chances are it would be much cheaper to go aftermarket and install them yourself.

Not that I am getting down on this thread, and I think it is sweet, and thanks for the info Brad.

Ohhhhhhh, I love the stripes!!!!!! But, I don't like the fact that those aren't full stripes, they end at the hood and everything. Still very cool, but if they will look like that I think I'll get mine custom done. Why aren't they offering the full stripes I wonder?

These will not be factory installed; they will be dealer installed.

the only stripes that are factory, are the Mustang name on the Rockers

I have done custom paintwork and restored cars, I would still hire someone to put vinyl stripes on for me. They have the measuring and installation tools and warranty their work. If you mess it up, you just cost yourself more then having them installed anyway.

I think they are saying as opposed to an eleanor kit where they go all the way down the bumper?

I have always been fond of the black with red stripe, might have to go with the dealer installed one once I find out some more information on them, I think it much better with the strips all the way down the front, I wonder if the dealer can install them like that
