Ford Legends, at Legends Field in Tampa, Florida

I like the hood blanket. It looks good. The Ford guy I talked to gave me the impressions there were going to be more ponies on it. By ponies I didn't think he meant 2.
Man I'm starting to like Torch red better.

Tampa, thx for posting the pic of you in the car. It is good to know that men who have a large....ah....... girth such as us will fit comfortably. That started to be my biggest worry as I was out looking at older ones. It is good to see these cars are a little roomier.

Hmm...the 800 number on that preliminary owner's manual is connected to... Honda?
But than again that page was last updated in march...

Two simple questions (does anyone who's seen the car know?):
1. Do the LED gauges illuminate when you turn on the power, or only when the lights are turned on?
2. Are the power window switches illuminated, or just stenciled with white lines?

1) Either with the parking lights or the headlights on.
2) They are not illluminated.
Also for those who don't already know, the passenger window also have an auto swicth to bring the window down by pressing the swicth once and both windows roll down 1/4" when the doors are opened.

Yeah Georgeman...autoup/down on all window switches rocks
Also I think I remember reading in the 'quick guide pdf'
that the gauges are always on....
When the lights are off, the gauges are white
When the lights are on, the gauges appear whatever you chose in the menu setting.
I would assume because the lights are so far back in the dash, that they'd have to be illuminated all the time, or would be a pain to see.

i was also at the mustang show at legends field and one other thing i wanted to add (i dont know if its been talked about yet) was that when you open the driver and passenger side doors the windows automatically come down abit and then go up when the door is closed i asked the reason for this and the ford guys said it was so the windows would make a better seal. anyways just a lil tidbit ...just in case

The fun begins in a couple of months. I'll be posting a lot of "congrats" for the lucky bums that get one.
