Called dealer with redfire GT shown in stock on Ford Direct, they have showed it there for a couple weeks but have yet to recieve it. Salesman told me they are on there long before they get the cars, he going to call me as soon as it comes in though and said I probably could get it under sticker.

Yep usually as soon as they leave the factory Ford update the sites so it may be a few weeks before the cars actually make it to the dealer depending on shipping and location.

I have not found this to be reliable. For example my car arrived today at the dealership and the dealership also is holding a sold 05 Mustang and neither have ever appeared on there system. Is this Ford adding the data or the dealer. My understanding is its Ford and there for no excuse.

Sold orders shouldn't ever show on Forddirect. Only vehicles that were originally ordered as stock units should ever show.

Well down the street they have had quit a bit come in and only one has shown up in inventory. The others were not sold or pre orders some are still there.

Thanks Karpro, I was just thinking about this.
My build week is this coming week and was wondering if I would see my car listed on FordDirect.
