Does anyone know when Ford will give official notice that they have scheduled all remaining orders for an '05? I've read lots of posts about dealers passing on speculative info but haven't heard of any "official" Ford info yet. Is there a date at which they will notify all dealerships that any remaining CU orders will not be built and they should inform the customers of this? I'd think they'd want to do this sooner rather than later so there is a better chance those customers will resubmit the order for an 06. Just curious if anyone has some insight on this. Or does Ford just let the orders sit out there and never tell anyone anything?

I think June 24th is the last day they are accepting '05 orders.

At present though, I don't think you'd have a chance in heck getting GT order filled.

Especially with the MY change over happening sometime at the end of July or beginning of August. I'd go for a 2006 Mustang this late in the game unless you want a V6 Vert.

Our Ford sales rep was here yesterday doing our balance out numbers for the '05 Mustang. We are officially getting 8 more for the model year and with 6 sold orders in the order bank, that doesn't leave many for stock. We asked for an additional 10 but I seriously do not think we will get them.

I would assume that the other dealers are either going thru this months wholesale numbers either this week or next so everyone will know just how many '05 Mustangs they will still receive for the model year.
