I believe Ford said in a article a few months ago that they didn't plan on offering any big rebates on the new cars coming out anytime soon but said that they would like to keep the rates low and move more cars that way, inlcuding the Mustang.

B) Kev; competative w/Credit Union. However, CU includes a good GAP package at no charge. What do you know about FoMoCo and GAP package?

Well my 95 cobra is done and it goes on sale tomorrow . I'm parkin it in front of my friends tire and service shop. Asking $8900 . I'm 35 and have been driving a mustang every day(Except when it snows) since I was 17 yrs old. I have to break out my winter beaters for now until I get my new muzzy.(1987 chevy suburban and a 1992 mercury topaz) I'm not ordering for another month so I can put a couple thousand more down. Boy , I'll miss my car! I'm looking at 3 months or more. I agree payments under $400 a must since insurance is going up on a new car purchase!!!!

P.S Also, I still can't figure out what color I want. It changes every day! Want to see the different colors in person at the lots before I decide!!!

Either that or get it from your insurance company. Im putting down more then $10k so I wont be getting gap. Dont rely on a dealer for financing anyway unless there is some super-rate.
