fogs not working.. hmmm

weird. The foglights don't work on my new GT. Before I take to the dealer to have em fix it, is there anything I can look at to figure out why? My high beams are not on.. Where is the fuse for it??

Thanks!

I know this may sound obvious but you did pull the switch out to turn the fogs on right?

In other words, turn the headlamp switch to at least the parking lamp position and pull the **** out.. Also the key does have to be on for the fog lamps to function.

They cover this in the owners manual if you dare read it from cover to cover like when I first got my car...

If the switch doesn't work, this is the sort of stuff they do.

Make sure your brights aren't on.

While ago I turned on my parking lights and fogs for my 8 block drive home and the fogs wouldn't come on. I was like wtf! Well my brights were flipped on the last time I shut them off. Flip the stalk and the fogs came on.

Personally, I would just take it to the dealer and let them deal with it. No point in messing around with it if it is covered. If you did find something such as a bad fuse, would that mean you would also find the root cause of the fuse blowing in the first place?

Do they come on when you unlock the car with your remote?

The car actually has to be running for them to come on I believe.

I'll ask one that no one else has..

Does the little green light come on on the headlight switch?

And one more dumb one: Are the bulbs good?

Actually, if the bulbs don't light, the indicator light won't come on. Its powered through the bulb filament. I found this out when I upgraded my fogs to driving lights. Even though the fog light relay was on, the indicator would only come on if I had at least one bulb in the factory harness.
