I love how the retro stlye 67 grill looks on this stang without the lights but thats only becasue they fill out the grill. Maybe ford considered a similar grill but didnt want to over do the retro. Someone should try a chop at a more current looking grill similar to the 67. This one is by chaz.

Not a fan of that chop.
Personally, I like the fogs where they are. I've always loved the 69 Boss Stangs, and the front end of the 05 looks a lot like that. Also, people are talking about having the fogs down low...well, I have an opinion of that as well...
Most of the GTs I've owned had problems with the fogs specifically because they were down low...water gets in there, they get shattered by rocks, etc. so needless to say I'm not a big fan of mounting them low.

Yes, that chop done by Chaz with the 67 grill, that is exactly what I'm talkin about. That's what a Mustang grill is supposed to look like, but i'm kinda biased for the 67's. But maybe if Ford or some company would offer an aftermarket peice or kit so that people could put in those retro-styled grills...

If ford had put in either of those grill's I would be mortified. That's too retro!
Thing to add to my list of retro stuff everyone likes but I hate
Mag 500 wheels
Bullit wheels
Live axle
Wierd corral and bar grill

I kinda like the '67 corral and bar look myself... I still have the original chrome mustang from the grill of my first car (a '67, naturally). I don't know if I'd go as far as to put it on the '05, but maybe after a little alteration....

While some might find the fog lights in the grill area stylish, it is certainly not the best place to put them.
Fog tend to hover 12 to 18 inches above the ground, that is why fog lights are always located low under the bumper of cars and trucks, to light the area under the fog. Personally if I have to chose between style and function I will always chose function.

I voted fogs but I think it may look nicer having something like the GTR concept style fogs. But I'm not replacing the whole front of the car to do it. I'll stick with stock fogs.
