You could wrap it in Matte Black vinyl and if you don't like it you could always just take it off.

A buddy of mine that's local to me spayed his rear emblem with some VHT nite shade and it looks almost like Black Chrome, I’m going to be doing that to mine soon. If you are looking to do it in the Matte Black appearance the local hardware store carries that type of paint in a spay can. I haven't seen the emblem for sale in Matte.

Removing the rear emblem is not that difficult. Just use a crowbar…..J/K

My hood scoop is done in Matte Black, I wanted to break up the Redfire Paint and add some contrast, I think it turned out okay....IMHO

You have a beautiful car. IMO I wouldn't touch the scoop.

I painted my rear medallion. Its more time consuming than cost consuming. I say paint it! I had no idea how much of a difference it would make!

coffee, i think it may look good. if you do the scoop then maybe do the rear panel also to help tie everything in.

i never tried it before, but they sell that temporary spray paint. supposedly won't wash off in the rain, but will come off easily with soap, sponge and water. that way you can get a good idea of what it will look like.

amazon sells it:
