SAw this and though some of youmight be interested. This is a new way to open your garage door, so you done have to carry around that ugly garage door opener on your visor........................

That's a cool idea. Less clutter is better. No more remotes! A 3-function remote transmitter is concealed in my Audi's sunvisor, but I would consider this when I get the 'Stang. Good find!

I do like it because the remote always leaves an indent n my visor and I hate that. So then I put it in the armrest compartment, but then I always have to feel around in there to find it.
My friend had a sebring convertible with the remote built into the visor, but since this was not an option for the mustang, I think the high beam idea, is brilliant.
I too, am not ready to run out and buy it, but it is a great concept.

I am going with a version of the HomeLink. Since I dont have the factory alarm, I cant do the home link, but I can do something similar!
The only problem with any of these things is in the event you dont have your car. It would be a good idea to keep the remote, so that youre not locked out of your garage.

Only thing I can think of it is measures something on the car. But what happens when your high beams start to wear and are not as bright? Then the door won't even open for you? What happens when someone gets one of those 1000 candle flashlights and now has access to your house.

This doesn't have anything to do with the brightness of your headlights 
There is a transmitter installed in the wiring of the lights......
Like James said, it's as secure as a regular garage door opener.

So, by simply flashing your lights will not open the door? The "flashing lights" triggers a sensor in your garage? The sensor in the garage sends a signal to the sensor in your car? Which opens the garage? Or does the "flash","flash" activate the sensor to open the garage?

It really has nothing to do with the headlights accept that it gets its trigger from the high beams being activated twice. You could be backing in a flash your headlights and the garage would open. It works on radio frequency not light. If you guys would check out the link and do a little reading you would understand how secure it is.
I am seriously considering this for my wifes car.
