FLASH Just Announced 0% for up to 72 months

Good through Sept 5th Ford is announcing 0% financing for up to 72 months on all 2006 models [I am sure that the GT40 will be excluded].
It is even available for people who ordinarily get hit with a higher rate due to blemished credit. I has not been published in writing yet but I just got finished watching a broadcast with the Pres of North American Sales who announced it. Program starts this Thursday.
This puts a 2006 GT at under $400 a month with tax and license down.

It just might just be time to trade in the '05, and also get rid of that 20sec's of start-up noise (that the dealer says is normal ..my a$$).

Here we have $1,500 cash back on the 2006 models as well (I am not sure if this is nation-wide), will the 0.0% be PLUS the $1,500 or will it be OR $1,500?

According to the broadcast, if a person elects to take the 0%, that's it, no other rebate is available.

Do you know if this rate available for X-plan deals?

Buying at invoice is at the discretion of each individual selling dealership. I would do invoice on any of out '06's other than a couple GT's that we bought from another dealer and own at invoice so we would need to make a couple hundred over.

This program will NOT show up on the Ford websiter since it doesn't start until tomorrow. I was giving everyone a little advance notice [something we usually do not get with new programs].

I would assume so but I will have to wait until the program actually begions to run a VIN as an x-plan sale and see if it shows compatable. Can't do that until after the program starts.

Thanks for the heads up Ed!

I'm in the process of trying to terminate my Mazda6 lease 6 months early and get in on an '06 Torch Red Mustang GT with a manual tranny (pretty much the last one in the area). I test drove it last night and loved it! The dealer will give me X-Plan and will take the lease off of me if I want.

If this all works out I'm looking at a payment of about $398 per month, after X-Plan discount and tax, for 72 months on a GT with MTX, red leather, IUP (satin silver) active alarm, 18" fanblades, and wheel locks.

Ed,
The KBB site gave me a "Good" condition trade-in value of $13,900 for my '04 Mazda6 and the balance remaining for the lease, not the total payments mind you, is $12,800. Mazda requires a $200 early termination fee. If the Ford or Mazda dealer appraise the Mazda for more than the balance, and there are no other fees for damage, I just give them the car, a check for $200, and sign some papers to walk away right?

Sorry, this is my first lease and I'm a bit green on the whole process. Thanks again for the tip! I'm crossing my fingers.

If the actual "payoff" is $12,800 plus an early term of $200, that equals $13,000. If KBB "trade" is $13,900, I have found that if indeed your car is in good shape and tires are ok, then the dealer appraisal usually is right around that amount so you should get some money back. If your lease buyout were higher than the appraisal you would have to pay the difference so if the appraisal is higher you should get the equity. If you know for a fact that the lease buyout amount is the $12,800 plus the early term fee, DO NOT relay that figure to the dealer until they appraise the car so that they do not let the appraisal influence the appraisal [in other wourds they may appraise the car for $14,000 for example but only show you the payoff and keep the equity as profit. You deserve the equity, not them. Email me direct if you have any questions or want any other advice.

Is the APR good for all regions? I just checked and those APR's have not shown up on the website yet. Or maybe i am looking in the wrong spots.
