first oil change done by me

everything went fine..just have 2 questions..

i have a V6 and the manual said 5 quarts..which is what i put in... anyone else with a V6 know if this is correct?? the dealer used to charge me for 5 + 1 extra quart maybe its more like 5.2 quarts? or the dealer just having his way with me without even buying me dinner! lol

second.. whats good to clean oil out of the driveway? lol

First, if the manual says 5 quarts, I would say......5 quarts is right.
Second, for spilled oil try some cat litter if you have any. Put some on the oil, give it a day or so to soak up, then sweep. If no litter available, go to auto parts store and get some Oil Dry. It's basically cat litter, but works a little better.

easiest way to see if 5 quarts was enough. just check the oil after a drive in the car if it reads low, put a little in.
