So last week I went up to Northern New York from Long Island ( about a 350 mile trip). The car was great and There were no problems. I know some people have experienced stalling after long drives, so that was one of my concerns. I did run into the gas tank fillup problem though and need to get that fixed soon.

What did amaze me was the lack of other 05's on the road. It was a good 6 hour drive both up there and then back down. I saw a total of 4 05's, 2 v6 verts, a MG v6 coup, and a nice looking yellow GT with black stripes. The sad part was that they were all parked. It was also entertaining to have almost every car that past me on the thruway slow down to look at my car before they continued on their way.

Overall the car ride was great and the hardest part of the drive was to stay within the speed limit and watch out for the numerous state troopers that were out.

Drove mine from Miami, FL to San Antonio in May and just came back a couple of weeks ago. Awesome ride in the open road. I'm ready to do it again!

some other notes from my trip.
I had 2 passengers with me, one in the front seat and one behind him. Both are average sized males in their early 20's. Neither had any complaints about the back seat or the front seat beeign moved a bit forward to give more room in the back.

Also, a slight complaint I had was that the cover of the middle storage compartment was a bit hard on my elbow after a while. Has anyone seen a replacement cover made with a softer material?

Mines been to Tennessee, and Florida so far. Not to mention the numerous trips to Louisiana. She has just shy of 16,000 on her now...

I know what you mean, too, about keeping her within the speed limit... its such a smooth enjoyable ride, its hard to hold her back
