I finally got my VIN# 1zvhp82h755147497. I never thought I would be so happy to get a few numbers and letters. I called the dealership Friday and the salesmanager was off of course. He probably got tired of talking to me every Friday. Anyway the salesperson that sold me the car said he would find a way to check on the order for me. Finally he called me around 6p.m. and had a VIN. Anyway I know i'm kind of late to the party since alot of you have your rides but I figured I would share. This gets 1 banana.
. Anyone got a ball park on how long I have now?

Dunno what to tell you, the serial number part of it doesn't jive for such an old order either. The last part of it looks like it was JUST ordered.
The First part doesn't jive with my VIN either, and I got the GT as well.

I believe you did, as I just tried my VIN and yours in Ford's own fleet manager VIN decoder site, mine came up as a valid VIN, your VIN up top did not.

Nah man, I don't work for Ford, I work for the USAF. ![Smile](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I just did a search using identification as the word (as the acronym vin was too short to allow for a search) and after a bit of digging located this site reference. Enjoy

Hey Stubbies, we are all in trouble if we go by what that Ford Fleet site says, that you posted. The 8th position of our VIN, the letter "H" comes up showing 4liters and 6 cylinders. We have GT's with 6 cylinders. You guys have got to check this out, it is kinda funny............we are screwed.

I did the same thing, my dealer left my VIN number in a voice mail on my cell phone, i wrote it down, called customer service and they told me my car was built and ready to ship, just didn't have an ETA, i later on went to erase th message from my house hold phone and some of the letter sounded different, sure enought the 1st vin i thought was mine was 1ZBFP8... when in reality it was 1ZVFT8... so i called Customer service back and they told me i had a build date of 1/3-1/10...i was so upset!
i would definaltly make sre you got the correct VIN number.
P.S. I went to that VIN finder website thing posted and typed in my VIn number and it told me a valid 17 character VIN should be entered, when i had 17 characters entered...what could this mean, i even went back and redid it a few times with the same results.

Have you guys tried that Ford Fleet site that Stubies provided? It is a couple posts up, If you put your VIN in there, and it is a GT like mine it shows the car has a 4liter 6 cylinder, way to funny or is it?????????????
