WooHoo!!! Just got an e-mail from my salesman and my car is showing bucked and going down the production line today!! I got one problem though. If it takes the normal 2 week delivery it's gonna be painful. My back surgery is scheduled for Feb 22nd (2 weeks away) and I'll be in the hospital for 2 days. I sometimes can't win for losing! :bang: Nothing like being happy and mad all at the same time.

I would postpone the surgery. I mean, do you really need your back? Where are your priorities?!!?!?! Seriously, Congratulations!!!! The two weeks is average anyway, maybe you'll get it sooner or later. The point is it's on the way!!!!!!!!

HAHA! Yes I unfortunately need my back. The surgery has been postponed once already thanks to workers comp paperwork mix up. I just knew it would happen this way.

When I asked my dealer how long it would be from build week to delivery he said usually 3 wks. so it also depends where you are.

Yeah, I think there are too many variables for an exact time. Maybe I'll get one of those week wonders. If not then two and a half weeks would be better.

Hey Jimmy,

Glad to hear about the ride; ...sorry to hear about bones.

Say, ...if you would like someone to take care of your new pony for a while ....!!?

I am sure if delivery will be a problem, someone would be more than happy to take it off your hands!

Haha Thanks Don. I'm having enough trouble trying to convince my Mom that she is not going to pick it up for me. One way or another I will get in that drivers seat and drive it home my self.

I'd be more than happy to pick your car up for ya! :drive:

Don't worry, I won't drive it too hard.

Congratulations, man. I'd do anything to be in your shoes right now.

Thanks everyone and Rex that was a good one. The Traction control will definitely be on. Haha. Luckily for me the surgery(artificial disc replacement) is new and supposedly won't have me all hobbled up for too long.

Joesmustang- if your car was submitted to plant in january I believe you should have a build date already. I'm in Texas but that shouldn't matter.

Justin(Z71mudder199)- I can't believe your car hasn't shown up yet, good luck. I was just using the normal time frame but knowing my luck mine will disappear along the way.

To everyone volunteering to pick up my car. My Mom says your crazy if you think you're getting in it before she does.HAHA!

One of my buddies just had the same thing done and he is loving life now. He couldn't walk at all. We litteraly had to carry him around the boat (while we were deployed-Navy) to medical and chow. Good luck with the car!

That's good to hear Jay and thanks! All the research I've read made me feel it would be the best way to go. 100% better than a fusion and less recovery and rehab time.
