I'm just curious . . . . for those of you with the IUP/Message Center . . . . . can anyone with a GT beat that?

You're getting some nice highway mileage. I'm jealous.

I got 355 once.
Most of the time I'm between 315 and 335.
I've also been at 27? before.

Good numbers. What do you do, get out and push?

Too funny

Nope . . . . I just never let the truth get in the way of a good story . I'd be lyin' if I said it was fun getting that kind of mileage.

Actually, it was an experiment on one tank of gas. I drove with every trick in the book trying to squeeze every last drop out of her.

Although I didn't over inflate the tires I did . . . skip shift, short shift, put it in neutral on down hills, draft semi trucks and drive like there was an egg under the pedal.

On my trip to Hershey, PA when I filled up it told me 373. It's usually around 340ish. I'll go about 270-300 between fillups.

I always try to be the lead car at a stoplight too... So I'm not being conservative. Just a lot of driving w/out stopping. Once I take her to the track those numbers should drop off.

I'm just below 15 mpg average, and I re-set it each tank. I'm usually in the 275-295 range w/ new tanks on miles left to empty. My driving is mostly "fun" driving, so it's all good to me!
