Fields of Red Dreams........

In a small town north of Pittsburgh, I came across this gathering of Stallions. Red, red, and more red! GT's, V6's, Verts, and a lone Yellow V6 Vert. About 100 cars in all! So many, I lost track when trying to count them. They have all been dropped shipped to this dealer in advance of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Race. There is to be a parade of sorts down one of our main Interstate Highways making their way to the corral at the race site. After the race and events in town, including the event with Hau Thai-Tang, they will be sent to area dealers to be sold to the general public. All of the window stickers have the ordering dealers name and the drop ship dealer, which was Jerry Taylor in Grove City, listed on them. So if you are looking for a red Mustang in the Western PA area, you should find plenty for the choosing in a few weeks time.

Here is the logo on the cars. There is a big decal on the doors and a smaller version on the left rear. I'm sure you could remove them though should you purchase one of these cars in the future.

There was something similar here in Wisconsin for Country USA. There was about 40 yellow verts, and about half being GT's. So if anyone is looking for verts, I think they might be in Wisconsin or Pennsylvania.

What makes them a "special edition"? What's different besides the logo?

I guess we will have plenty of time to watch them as they get stuck in middle of the highway construction traffic.
I will be the too, but in my Red Fire. Any idea on when the "parade of 100 cars" will actually be on Friday or Saturday?
Chris - will we get any registration info? Or any info on where to check in? Or ANY info?

nice... I'll be parked on the fairway with my Torch Red. I'm going to try to hop on the tail end of that parade down to schenley park too.

I have no idea if we will get any registration info, I was wondering the same thing. I just pulled up my confimation to make sure I didn't miss anything and there is nothing on there. I was going to give them a call tomorrow, I'll let you know what they say.
I'd like to know what time we get to make our lap around the track and all the other fun stuff.

The Parade of 100 Mustang's is to be Friday 7/15. My '05 GT vert is one of the one's pictured above and I was told it will be coming this way Friday.
Kind of tough knowing it's sitting there and you can't take delivery, but that was part of my deal so I'll stink it up for another week. It'll be worth it come next Friday.
