Fair Price for my 06 GT?

Hey guys,

Thinking of selling my 2006 GT. I want an 03 or 04 Cobra bad. Do you think $25K is a fair price? I can't trade it on a Cobra because I don't want to get taken. Here are the specs:

Black 2006 GT Premium (all upgraded: interior, fanblades, etc)
Automatic
7,000 miles (never in snow, stored in winter)
CDC Classic Chin Spoiler (matte black)
Roush 1/4 Window louvers
JLT II CAI and Bamachips tunes/Predator

Whattaya think?

Was yours stock? Or did you have some exterior/engine mods?

Just don't waste your time trying to sell to Carmax. Thought I was going to have to sell mine back in July and they offered me $19k for my bone stock '06 premium 5 spd.

I bought my 2006 GT last month for $20,300 from a dealer. It's a stock premium, IUP, no other upgrades, manual, 8K miles, "certified preowned". It's been my experience things cost a little less in general down here though.

Go and check ebay and it will tell you the truth about what is selling right now. Nothing really. Its has become a buyers market if there were some buyers first. 0% Interest rates on 08's will be out in a few months and most are waiting to see what the new models is going to bring to the table before buying. Not mention the 05's are everywhere.

e-Bay is not where you want to sell a car unless you don't care about getting jack **** for it.

go to AutoTrader.com and Cars.com to see what they are going for in your area and double check the KBB before letting her go.

Yeah, honestly you would be lucky to get about 22k for it I would think, maybe 23k.

I paid 21.5 on my 05 last year 19k miles on it.

Strange to sell your 06 stang for a 04 cobra, its a cool car and all, I had a similar internal battle but after driving both cars I decided on the 05 as the better. not to mention it being more expensive

Good luck selling her, but (just a heads up) I bought a loaded Prem 08 GT for less then that. She should be in sometime in mid Oct.

*Sorry for the mini hijack*
-------------------------------
Went to 3-4 different dealerships and got them out bidding eachother. I didn't 'need' the car so I could argue for acouple weeks with them till I got the price I wanted. Told them what I wanted for my truck and they couldn't match it, so they knocked it off the car to 'make up' for it.

Good thing is I can still sell my truck outright, for alot more then their trade-in, and the price on my stang is still the same. Yes, I've got it all on paper.

Maybe loaded was over stating it, but she's not the base prem GT. I did not get the 18" wheels, Shaker 1000, active security or the leather dash. Sorry for the confusion.
-----------------------------

Again, good luck on getting what you want for you stang.

That's OK...it's not as if I'm unhappy with the car or that I need to unload it due to not being able to afford it. I just want a Cobra. I must be the most unlucky guy in the world...being stuck with such an awesome car.
