Sonic Blue/Dark Charcoal

 

combo for me was easy -- my father's '66 289 was gray with a red interior. but i wanted the car more than i wanted to wait for red leather seats.

charcoal with 18R doesn't make me smile the way 18G/ICAP does, but i've learned to like the play of the chrome bezels against the black interior. it's all business with a hint of class.

 

I pre-ordered the Windveil Blue/Dark Charcoal leather back in June before the color was even available to look at on any lot. I have not regretted getting this color combo once. I get numerous compliments on this car every day.

 

The interior color(dk charc) was easy for me. Deciding on the exterior just about drove me crazy. I love the redfire but it'd too much like my truck. The white was also very nice but my last mustang was white altough its been 10yrs since I had it. I really liked the pics of W/blue but couldn't find one to look at until I saw it on a Taurus. It looked great on it so I figured it would look even better on a Mustang so that was what I picked. I have since seen it on a Mustang and can't wait for mine.

 

Took me a long time to decide on exterior color, the interior was easy. I work in the printing industry and no matter what you do or how careful you are, you will always have some residual ink somewhere on your clothes or shoes just waiting to ruin your cars interior.

I started out wanting legend lime, then thought redfire, then sonic blue, then redfire, then sonic blue again. Went to a dealership and saw actual sonic blue and made up my mind. Still really dig the redfire, too bad I can't afford two cars.

 

This afternoon I had my first sighting of another 2005 Mustang on the road in NJ. I was heading southbound on route 18 and there it was on the northbound side....another V6 in Sonic Blue looking just like mine!
