Another two interior questions for you lucky guys: How bad is the glare from the aluminum strip accross the dashboard???? And how comfortable are the headrests? Every time I look at the interior pics I think the headrest angle looks like it must push your head forward.
Didn't have any glare issues. Didn't use the headrests as I drive with my head slightly forward (I think most people do), but it was in a very nice position if you wanted to rest your head. Definately functional.

In all seriousness,

the clutch is very light, I have been used to heavy clutches with long travels, if anything, that is what surprised me with this car, the fact that is was actually easy to drive with a manual. This is not a car that would give you a sore left leg after spending time in rush-hour traffic.

The clutch info has alleved my fears of getting a manual...I haven't driven one in about two years now...should be nice.

Thanks to Mr. Jansen and to Dan and Steve for the review :worship:

So I take it that the headrests are not movable? That's the position I would have 'em in, but I'm just interested if you tried moving them(I've sat in two now, and that is the one thing I didn't move in the interior...)

Sorry Frank, we didn't try. I think they raise/lower but not sure about tilt.

All credit should go to brad for building a great site.

We are lucky we live close to the head office and the people there recognise the work Brad has done.

no they didn't, I figure that would have been something they could have thrown into the IUP.

Great job, guys. I know everyonr here is green with envy, especially me, since I won't be getting near a new Mustang until maybe next year.

believe me, waiting the next 6 months for my car won't be a picnic either.

The worst part about driving the '05 is that driving my cars is even more depressing.

Great review guys! I especially like that you confirm there's plenty of space for 6 footers in the '05. Too bad it wasn't a Redfire Dan. I't would have been cool to have your opinion on the color (looking pink or not...)

Great review guys. What a thanksgiving present :-) Loved the pic with flag

If you get a chance, could you maybe ask if there is a option to have the V6 ordered without lower stripe.

questions:

-where there cup holders in back
-what was left hand blind spot like (do you need to take double take)
-is spare tire full,or space saver type
-does gas cap have release lock from inside
-with rear seat folded down, could you carry skis, snowboards etc (is there room)

Thanks Tom

-Pretty sure there were no cupholders in the back (although I didn't look too hard)
-The mirrors are huge, and there is no real blind spot
-didn't check, but I am positive we have a space saver in the trunk.
-the fuel door is manual. There is no fuel-door release from inside the car.
-never even thought about checking the fold-down rear seats.
