Will the ERL update during the two week FORD shutdown???

 

It should, the shut down is in the production end but not the shipping and scheduling operations.

 

It might not since during the Labor Day and Thanksgiving holidays it was "offline" due to the holidays

 

Looks like thats a NO. I called last night (23rd) and the message said they were shutdown in observance of a FMC holiday.

 

My Mustang was built and shipped before the plant shut down for the Holidays last year (built/shipped on 12/14), which of course was before the plant shutdown.
Since my car's ETA was 'week of 12/25', then changed to 'week of 1/1' I kept calling for updates during the shutdown period and the ERL was running except for Christmas weekend (ERL down from the afternoon of 12/24, 25 and 26)...but on the 27th ERL had good news for me when it opened on that day...'unit arrived at the ramp'.
And the 27th IS within the plant's Holiday shutdown period.
