erl lady says we are not able to produce an automated vehicle request then says its transfering. whuts that mean?

For everyone still waiting for delivery of an 05 Mustang, I found that by calling Ford Customer Relationship Center @ 800-392-3673 is very helpful. You will be speaking with a live person and as long as you have your Vehicle Order Confirmation (VOC) they should be able to help you.

 

monday-friday 8am-5pm (probably eastern time)

 

I love this place! I got the same message today and of cource my mind started racing wondering what that meant.

 

Seems to happen every Sat. night and into Sunday so far for me (the month I have rabidly been checking my order).

So far, same message for ERL. Like someone said, probobly doing some updating. Either that, or ERL has been having some hot dates Saturday night and a mad hangover on Sunday. Floozy...

 

Ford does most of their system updating on Sundays as most dealer are closed. Almost all of Ford on line systems are down on Sundays.

 

Yeah...I got that same message earlier today and thought they lost my order. I was freakin' out. Thanks for posting so now I know I'm not the only one that got that message.

 

Still down as of 5:30 am Monday.

 

The Evil Robot Lady is once again working as of 10:00am.

 

I would not waste time and worry stress etc if you got a date then sit back and wait, thats what I did and worked great as calling back cannot help speed it up etc. thats what I did however I did email Ford a few times , and they always ask you to check with your dealer as they get a report once a week.
