I called the ERL this morning twice and both times I was shuttled to an analyst, which prompted me to hang up. :bang: :bang: This cannot be a good sign. Either there is something wrong with the order now or the dealer somehow got the order flagged. Any suggestions?

The ERL doesn't even know me any more. No status, no nothing. The Dealer said (as of Friday) that my car was still on a train. Who knows? ERL is on drugs.

maybe it is picking up background noise when you call and dumping you to the analyst? I know when I called a week or so ago from my cell it couldnt under me and dumped me to an analyst.

Don't waste your time and or get an Ulcer with that number, It does not speak our language never worked for me as long as you have those three things your good dealer # body # and customer # even a vin # I highly recoomend just like everyone says sit back and wait it out I did and now I'll go get it in 8 hours.

I called this weekend, Sunday morning I believe, and was dropped to the analyst in the end just like you. Not because I wasn't understood, but because the system said it was unable to look up information on my order.

But I called again on Monday and everything was back to normal. I still had the same status update from April 7th. So I do not believe it means there is a problem or change with your car. I believe it just means there has been a 'glitch' in the system.

Good luck on getting through.

I got through to the ERL this morning. Everything seemed to be "normal"

Does the ERL keep updating status once a vehicle has been shipped to rail carrier?

Many have had bad experiences. Besides background noise, you have to pronouce letters and numbers very clearly. Similar sounding letters - like mos t of them - can easily confuse the automated system.

I sometimes have to dial back 3 times.

It's hit or miss for me. I've had pretty good luck calling the NSERL (that's Not-So-Evil Robot Lady, because she's had good news for me). Most of the time, "she" understands my answers. Then she gets water in her ear and says "I do not understand." When she says that twice, that's when I'm told to hold and wait for a... And that's when I get into a panic and hang up! I agree with another poster, I think her behavior is erratic. Perhaps an intervention is required. Let's all band together and get the ERL off drugs!

My last status was shipped by rail as of April 14 and then on the 19th the dealer had the car and the rest is history.

Check the dealer's lot to make sure they are not trying to sell it to someone else.

Yep the dealer will get an update once a week, even if they don't call you to tell you what it is My sales person was good enough that he pulls out his wallet and shows me that he even carried my number for that Magical Moment and updates. I have to admit Mr Marshall Lindholm did exactly that.

So what if you get to the analyst. You have the dealer code, your order number and hopefully the name of your salesperson. Do like I did, pretend you were the salesperson checking the status of a customer's order. I told the analyst that I was "away from the office without a computer" and wanted an update for my customer. No problem...and they were very nice.

Only did that once though. I was desperate.

The way my whole expierince has been I'd have to say was an Agonizing wait but a stance that I learned from here was that once I have the Dealer code# Body Style# customer # and even a Vin # That it was like conception ? it had started and was in the works and the best thing was filter out all the pros and cons and do something productive and wait, All Dealers will rec an update once a week, for me I was lucky that it was convinent to drive through the lot that once a week , he'd see me coming run in get it I Never had to ask. sorry to ramble but this helped alot, as I could not have an Epidural until it was born
